Homegate is Switzerland’s leading digital real estate marketplace. With more than 9 million visits and over 200 million page views each month, as well as more than 100,000 properties currently on offer, Homegate AG is one of the leading Swiss digital companies.
During the process of acquiring a property in Switzerland, it is mandatory for the applicant to complete an application known as ‘Debt Collection’. In the UK or US this would be known as a Credit Check and determines whether the applicants financial status will allow them to proceed.
At the time, Homegate were using a basic website which followed none of the company branding guidelines, and applicants did not use this service to obtain their Credit Check.
It became clear that Homegate needed to rebrand the website and design a fluid user journey to increase conversion.
It was then decided that Homegate would take over the entire process, and utilise a company called CRIF for their API services. The project was managed in Vue.JS. We leveraged existing components as well as creating our own, met with various stakeholders and completed a process that increased conversion over 60%.
